Herman Hollerith Conference 2024

The Herman Hollerith Zentrum (HHZ) bundles the scientific achievements of colleagues from the Faculty of Computer Science at Reutlingen University. The teaching and research center is integrated into the structures of Reutlingen University and the Faculty of Computer Science. With partners from science and industry, relevant issues in business informatics are addressed in research and teaching.

With this in mind, we invite all interested parties to the Herman Hollerith Conference on 15.11.2024 at the teaching and research campus in Böblingen. Together with our industry partners, scientists, doctoral candidates, alumni and students, we look forward to an exciting dialog on the topic of “AI-based Digital Business”.

Digital transformation is changing many organizations through the influence of artificial intelligence (AI) and other pioneering digital technologies. The core of intelligent digitalization offers new perspectives for highly automated intelligent systems, services, products and applications as well as their human-centric context. The potential of AI and cognition combined with intelligent data analytics for the next level of digitalization in areas such as machine learning, natural language processing, generative AI, computer vision, and augmented reality is driving digital innovation and providing essential guidance for smart digital strategies as well as advanced stakeholder-centric business models and digital architectures that form the basis for enhanced value propositions and true innovation.

Scientific papers should not exceed 8 pages, while industrial papers can be 4-6 pages and should be formatted according to the SPRINGER PUBLISHER'S REQUIREMENTS. Authors are invited to submit original unpublished papers not reviewed for another conference, workshop, or journal at the time of submission. Papers should address one or more relevant research areas for “AI-based Digital Business”.
