With around 1,000 students, informatics is the second largest faculty at Reutlingen University and has been a pioneer in our field since the establishment of the Business Informatics program 40 years ago. Since then, the faculty has continually grown in significance and expanded its academic offerings to include additional Bachelor's and Master's programs.
The Faculty of Informatics is characterized not only by its long existence but also by its established position within the German higher education landscape. This is evidenced by numerous awards for its top-tier programs and its excellent reputation among companies.
This recognized level of quality makes our faculty an outstanding institution for prospective computer scientists.
