KI Lab Region Stuttgart
Digital transformation presents companies with new challenges and at the same time opens unique opportunities. Technologies based on artificial intelligence (AI) offer a wide range of potential for companies and can help to improve key value-adding processes. Our AI Lab informs small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and start-ups in the Stuttgart region about this potential, sensitizes them to the topic of AI, helps them to develop the relevant expertise, and supports them with specific AI projects and pilot projects.
The KI-Lab Region Stuttgart pools AI expertise from research, consulting, and practice. It provides SMEs and start-ups with a central, low-threshold contact point for AI issues. A multi-stage information, training, and skills transfer program specifically addresses the AI-specific needs of SMEs and start-ups. The AI Lab provides support in analyzing the status quo, setting realistic goals, and demonstrating how the use of AI technologies can support SMEs and start-ups.
The AI Lab offers interested SMEs and start-ups support for a comprehensive range of relevant issues. The AI Lab's services include organizing information events, training workshops, online training courses and intensive consultations and supporting pilot AI projects. Further customized services can be tailored to the needs of SMEs and start-ups
The project is coordinated by ZD.BB GmbH, Böblingen. In addition to the district of Böblingen, other partners include the Herman Hollerith Teaching and Research Center at Reutlingen University (Faculty of Informatics) and the Böblingen/Sindelfingen Software Center. The project is also actively supported by Wirtschaftsförderung Region Stuttgart, Fachkräfteallianz Region Stuttgart, Bezirkskammer Böblingen, IHK Region Stuttgart, Handwerkskammer Region Stuttgart, Kreishandwerkerschaft Böblingen and the Industrial partners IBM Deutschland, MHP and Dibuco.
The KI-Lab Region Stuttgart informs small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and start-ups in the Stuttgart region about the technical and economic potential of artificial intelligence, helps to build up AI expertise and supports specific AI projects and pilot projects.
