The Herman Hollerith Center is the teaching and research center of the Faculty of Computer Science at Reutlingen University and is located on its own campus in Böblingen. Böblingen is a town with a tradition of progress. World-famous companies have their research centers here, where the brightest minds are inventing the future. The district town is the strong shoulder of the Stuttgart economic region. These strengths are constantly undergoing progressive development. Modern infrastructure
The Herman Hollerith Center has modern technical equipment. The infrastructure itself is fully networked as a smart environment and integrated into the courses offered on campus. The Böblingen site was set up specifically for courses in modern computer science and business. The technology and software are tailored to these courses. Students can also access the technical resources of Reutlingen University.

Center for Digitalization (Digital Hub)
The Boeblingen Centre for Digitalization is a central point of contact for companies and start-ups from the Stuttgart region and offers comprehensive advice on digitalization issues. Together with the Herman Hollerith Center, the Softwarezentrum Boeblingen/Sindelfingen, Star Cooperation, LGI Logistics Group International and the Coworking Space Herrenberg, the district of Boeblingen has initiated the Zentrum Digitalisierung (ZD.BB).
Smart City Living Lab
The Smart City Living Lab represents a user-friendly, real-world research environment in which research and development on the future of cities and municipalities is carried out together with relevant actors. In the real laboratory, research is carried out together with local actors from politics, business and civil society in the area of Smart City. The transfer of findings from research into applicable solutions is a central component of research at the HHZ.
AI Lab Stuttgart Region
The AI-Lab Region Stuttgart informs small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and start-ups in the Stuttgart region about the technical and economic potential of artificial intelligence, helps to build up AI expertise and supports specific AI projects and pilot projects. A multi-stage information, training and skills development program specifically addresses the AI-specific needs of SMEs and start-ups.
