The approach of the Herman Hollerith Zentrum (HHZ) is characterized, among other things, by a close partnership with partner companies. Our partner companies gain direct access to modern research and transfer concepts from computer science and business. Conversely, they provide students with a direct link to the practice of digital transformation.

Collaboration with partner companies promotes the expansion of Bachelor's and Master's degree programs by providing a high degree of practical relevance. It supports the transfer of knowledge between science and practice, for example through the involvement of company representatives in teaching or by students working on projects with the company.

A particular focus of the study programs at HHZ is their dual structure. Lectures are mainly held in blocks, allowing students at HHZ to work alongside their studies. HHZ also provides support in finding suitable positions at partner companies.

How do I become a corporate partner?

Companies interested in a partnership are welcome to contact the HHZ spokesperson. We will inform you personally about the possibilities of cooperation, such as:

• Direct contact with IT talents at HHZ events and functions.

• Carrying out company presentations or workshops on campus.

• Guest lectures in classes.

• Finding students for internships and theses.

• Recruiting IT talents for dual study programs.

• Company-specific projects integrated into study programs.

• Advertising jobs, and publicizing recruiting events.

• Joint implementation of research and transfer projects.
