Cooperation partner
The AWS Skills to Jobs Tech Alliance (Tech Alliance) is a global alliance of technology employers, education and networking partners. In addition to cooperating with Tech Alliance partners, AWS also works closely with policymakers and public administration to jointly close the skills gap in the technology sector. The declared aim of the Tech Alliance is to close skills gaps and prepare learners for challenging technical professions.
Following the successful launch of the AWS Tech Alliance in the USA in April, the initiative was also launched in Germany in December 2023. The founding members of the Tech Alliance in Germany are impressive: Well-known employers such as Siemens, Vitesco Technologies, Accenture, Deloitte, Zoi, XL2 by Audi, Capgemini and the consulting firm Nordcloud, which belongs to IBM, have been involved from the outset. Other network and event partners include KI Park, DIHK Bildungs gGmbH, the IT industry association Bitkom e.V. and GovTech Campus Deutschland. The educational partners for the German launch are UnternehmerTUM (the start-up and innovation center of the Technical University of Munich), FOM University, IU - International University of Applied Sciences, Reutlingen University and the DCI Digital Career Institute.
AWS Skills to Jobs: Exactly the right skills for the future
For students and trainees, the program offers valuable practical insights in order to enter the job market with skills that are really in demand. Mentorship programs take young employees and career starters by the hand and prepare them for a career in tech. Among other things, AWS provides virtual learning modules, expert contributions and practice-oriented labs. In addition, the Tech Alliance organizes numerous events such as hackathons (AWS Jam) and job fairs.
