Ranking & Accreditation
The faculty of informatics at Reutlingen University is one of the best informatics faculties in the country. This is confirmed year after year by national and international ranking results from renowned institutes and journals, as well as feedback from our students and corporate partners. All the faculty's teaching programs are accredited by ASIIN (Accreditation Agency for Study Programs in Engineering, Informatics, Natural Sciences and Mathematics).

Accreditation by ASSIN
All degree programs at the Faculty of Informatics are accredited by ASSIN e.V. and therefore meet the legal requirements. The accreditation for the new Digital Business degree program is already being processed.
Background to the accreditation:
The accreditation of all degree programs was mandated for German universities in Baden-Württemberg as part of the Bologna Process. It represents an external element of the newly introduced quality assurance measures at universities. The core of the procedure is assessing the quality of the teaching concepts by external agencies. These agencies consult external university lecturers, students from other universities and representatives from professional practice in their assessment of the study concept.
